Pre-Requisite
Candidates are required to be experienced dog owners and/or handlers in order to receive certification in this course. This is a dog behaviourist course dealing with dog behaviour theory, and case studies and offers no 'hands-on' practicum. It is assumed that candidates will use their prior knowledge, understanding and experience with dogs and apply the skills, therapies and techniques learned on this course.
Prospective candidates will be able to register for the course using Paypal, or any credit card, through our course software.
Qualification and Certification
Successful graduates of this course will receive certification as a Natural Dog behaviour Consultant, and be eligible to use the designation NDBC, as well as have use of our NDBC logo for professional purposes. All graduates will receive a graduation diploma as well as a NDBC ID card.
In order to retain and maintain their certification, graduates will be required to pay a yearly professional membership fee. Successful graduates may also be eligible for membership in various professional organizations like:

Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers
Association of Pet Dog Trainers
Assessment and Final Exam
Each lesson module can be completed at your own pace. Upon completion of each lesson, a score of 75% must be attained on that lesson quiz in order to access next lesson.
You will be required to create a case study on a test subject dog and write a functional assessment of issues. This, along with a 2 hour on-line exam will comprise the final exam. A minimum mark of 75% is required in order to graduate.

All lessons will be given in an on-line format. There will be reference texts will be available for purchase in either hardcopy format, or in downloadable pdf.

Tuition
This course can be taken as a complete course, or by module. There are four modules making up the total course package, with a pass in each module counting as credit towards your NDBC designation.
